How can you support VRB?

The Nutcracker Ballet Performance Fund

Performances of The Nutcracker will be held in December at The College of William and Mary's Phi Beta Kappa Memorial Hall in Williamsburg, Virginia. Former Artistic Director of the Chamber Ballet for 35 years, Heidi Robitshek's Nutcracker production has been a Williamsburg institution for over 30 years. Distinguished professional dancers will join students from our academy for what is certain to be a memorable and artistically high caliber set of performances. Ticket sales pay for only a portion of the production costs. Your gift allows us to continue this wonderful annual tradition.

The Nutcracker is funded in part by the Williamsburg Area Arts Commission.

Jenny Paddock Scholarship Fund

Scholarships, through the Jenny Paddock Scholarship Fund, are available to children residing in Williamsburg, James City County, and York County. Our scholarship is intended to allow students to have the opportunity to learn the art of dance through ballet class. It is the goal of the scholarship program to promote and advance the art of dance and to provide a low- or no-cost opportunity for any family who otherwise could not afford dance lessons. Your gift helps a child particpate in the art of dance.

Scholarships are funded in part by the Junior Women's Club of Williamsburg.

Robitshek Dance Ensemble Fund

The Robitshek Dance Ensemble allows talented youth to study and perform abroad. Students are given the opportunity to learn and perform choreography from renowned guest choreographers.

Summer Seminar Fund

The Summer Seminar Fund provides scholarships for deserving students to attend Summer Intensive Seminars.

General Fund

The General Fund provides funding for general operating costs including, but not limited to, costumes and props, guest artist/choreographer fees, production costs, educational and community outreach costs, building fees, etc.

Your contribution to one of our funds will make the dream of dance possible for our non-profit student company and our very appreciative audiences. Please consider supporting the Virginia Regional Ballet. Donations can be made at the VRB studios or by mail. An online donation option coming soon.

Please make checks payable to Virginia Regional Ballet with a notation in the memo section of the fund you are supporting. Donations not designated for a particular fund will go to the general fund.
